Our Garden Ministry started when a Boy Scout, Atticus, approached us about an Eagle Scout project. We have a large expanse of yard behind our church. So, we decided to begin a garden. Atticus and members of Troop 105 built two raised and four elevated gardens. As you can see, it has been producing quite well!
Later, the girls from Troop 39 tended the garden with bountiful harvests. Today, the garden is planted and tended by members of our church congregation.
We are enjoying the harvest as well as sending the bulk of it to the Daily Bread Community Food Pantry. God is Good!
